Jesse Michel
Jesse Michel, our founder, brings a rare and accomplished background to player development. He played professional hockey in five countries and is one of only three players ever to transition from playing professionally as a goalie to skating out as a position player at the pro level. Beyond his playing career, Jesse has scouted in both the BCHL and NAHL, giving him deep insight into what it takes to advance. He has guided countless athletes through the OHL Draft process, secured invitations to major junior camps, supported NCAA commitments, and helped players progress from AAA to junior, major junior, and collegiate levels. With extensive experience and a vast network of contacts across North America—along with strong ties to European leagues—Jesse offers players unmatched knowledge and opportunity.

Niki Petti
Niki Petti brings elite-level hockey experience and a high-performance mindset to every athlete he works with. Selected 10th overall in the OHL Draft, he went on to play professionally in North America and Europe, including time within the Montreal Canadiens organization and the AHL.
Having trained and competed alongside top-tier talent, Niki understands the standard required to perform at the highest levels. As the founder of NP Hockey, he has developed a reputation for a refined, detail-driven approach that blends skill development, decision-making, and true game transfer.
With a hands-on coaching style and strong connections across the hockey world, Niki provides more than development-he offers mentorship, structure, and a clear pathway for athletes looking to elevate their game.

Mike Gennello
Mike Gennello brings a wealth of high-level playing and coaching experience, along with a deeply rooted presence in the hockey world. A former NCAA athlete who went on to play professionally in Finland, Mike has also achieved international success behind the bench, earning a gold medal as a coach with Team USA and capturing an IIHF championship.
Having developed both as a player and coach within elite environments, Mike understands the demands of performance at every stage of the game. His approach is built on structure, accountability, and a strong emphasis on development that translates directly to competition.
With longstanding family ties in hockey and a respected network across North America—including connections within the USHL—Mike brings credibility, access, and insight to every athlete and organization he works with. As Head of United States for Berkshire Agency, he plays a key role in expanding opportunity, guiding athletes, and upholding a standard of excellence across all levels.

Emma Altman
Emma Altman brings a powerful blend of business expertise and hockey insight to the organization. With an extensive background in marketing and consulting, she has worked across the tobacco, cannabis, retail, and tech industries, supporting brands and companies valued in the hundreds of millions. As a strategic partner and family liaison, Emma plays a key role in guiding both the business and the families within the program. Her connection to the hockey world runs deep- her brother played professional hockey in Sweden, and her other brother, Jesse Pollock, is a well-known figure with BarDown (TSN). This unique combination of high-level business experience and personal ties to the game gives Emma a well-rounded perspective that benefits both players and their families.
